PennTAP also helped Balfurd Linen & Uniform obtain a USDA REAP grant of $182,976 as well as additional Act 129 Rebates.
The outcome of the project resulted in 13% propane consumption reduction (double the estimated amount) and greenhouse gas emission reduction by 3.1 metric tons.
Thanks to PennTAP’s support, York Wallcoverings was awarded a USDA REAP grant totaling $68,503. The LED upgrades completed will lead to annual energy savings of $14,759 and 210,840 kWh of energy.

Erie Ale Works is a craft brewery in Erie, PA. They were planning to remodel the facility and wanted to increase production as well as incorporate energy efficiency into the renovation.
Nickel Farm, located in Sharpsville, PA, is a small family-owned farm which raises dairy cattle for milk production and grows corn and soybeans. The farm needed an energy audit as well as assistance with a grant application to upgrade its grain dryer.
