2022 marked the first full year PennTAP had six regional technical advisors embedded in communities across the state. Our advisors strengthened bridges between Penn State campuses and their surrounding communities, supporting economic development, innovation, and sustainability projects alongside local and University partners.
To help local businesses grow, PennTAP actively promotes training and education opportunities. We provide online training through webinars hosted by our technical advisors, in addition to hosting in-person learning events and conferences throughout the year.
Energy & Operational Assessments
PennTAP can help your business conserve energy, reduce waste, and increase profits. Technical advisors will work with you to identify opportunities and quantify them into financial terms, as well as assist you with applicable grants and incentives.
PennTAP can help individuals, start-ups, and small to midsized businesses with product development and prototyping, engineering design, and connecting them with University, government, and financial resources.
