We act as the connection point between small to medium sized businesses across the state and Penn State student and faculty communities seeking opportunities to engage with industry. Our expansive network of industry professionals is eager to connect with academics from Penn State looking to apply their knowledge to improve and innovate the industry space.
Ways to Engage
We offer unique access to an abundance of resources from one of the premier universities in the country, including faculty expertise, research centers, state of the art facilities as well as students. You can have senior engineering students work on your backburner project for free as part of a capstone course, connect and collaborate with Penn State researchers and professors, and take advantage of the LaunchBox & Innovation Network, with 21 locations across the state.
Inc.U Competition
We managed the annual student startup pitch competition, Inc.U, from 2016 – 2021. During this time, Penn State undergraduate entrepreneurs from any Penn State campus submitted pitch videos, and six teams earned a spot on “The Investment” TV show for a share of at least $30,000 in funding. In addition to a shot at funding, finalists received hands on mentoring from our staff and other entrepreneurial experts to prepare for their televised pitch.
