Vignesh Raman is a graduate student at The Pennsylvania State University pursuing a PhD in Industrial Engineering, with a Master’s in Additive Manufacturing and Design. He has achieved several certifications in the manufacturing and design domain (MIT Edx Additive Manufacturing for innovative Design and Production, Solidworks professional with specialization in Advanced Drawing tools, Advanced Sheet Metal, Surfacing and Weldments). Prior to joining PennTAP, he worked at the technical/RnD department of an additive manufacturing machine development company. As a graduate intern at PennTAP, he supports small to mid-sized manufacturers through assisting with energy audits, writing technical reports, and continuous improvement of processes and operations.
