Jenn Jones, C.E.M., CSSGB, C.W.E.P., is a PennTAP Technical Advisor who works out of the Technology Center Building located at Penn State’s University Park campus. She connects small businesses, industries, and organizations in the region with University resources, as well as those provided by our statewide resource partners, to advance their innovation and sustainability goals. She performs on-site industrial energy efficiency and pollution prevention assessments, provides consultation on energy management systems, such as the 50001 Ready Program, and coordinates our E3 Assessments. Jenn can identify energy conservation and pollution prevention opportunities and provide companies with grant assistance for programs such as the Small Business Advantage Grant, Rural Energy for America Program, or the Act 129 utility rebates.
 
Prior to joining PennTAP, Jenn worked as an environmental consultant for over ten years. Jenn has completed local, state, and federal environmental permits for water quality improvement projects, in addition to land development projects for the natural gas industry throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, and New York. Jenn also assisted with Section 7 rare, threatened, or endangered species reviews and consultation with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, including Biological Assessment preparation, and other relevant state organizations.
 
Jenn is a certified Energy Manager, Six Sigma Green Belt, Water Efficiency Professional, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences from Penn State.
