Heidi Shadeck

Heidi Shadeck, P.G., is a technical advisor serving Northwest Pennsylvania, working from the Penn State Behrend Campus. She is responsible for providing technical assistance related to energy efficiency and pollution prevention to small and midsize businesses. She also connects businesses and organizations with the resources of the University in order to support their goals related to innovation, job growth, sustainability, and student engagement.

 

Prior to joining PennTAP, Heidi worked as a consultant in the areas of environmental remediation, groundwater supply development, and regulatory compliance for clients in the public and private sectors. She also spent more than five years working directly for the shale gas industry as a Water Resources Manager. 

 

Heidi holds a Bachelor’s degree in environmental science/geology from Edinboro University and she is a registered Professional Geologist in Pennsylvania.
