This industry roundtable will focus on Pollution Prevention (P2) tools and training needs unique to metals manufacturing and fabrication. Discussions will center around waste reduction techniques, water conservation, and energy reduction strategies that can be implemented in your facility. We will open the floor for discussion around operational related priorities, challenges, successes, and concerns. Attendees will also tour the Digital Foundry at New Kensington, a state-of-the-art facility providing access to digital technologies.
Understanding manufacturing priorities, challenges, successes, and concerns will help us craft a tailored P2 training program for the metals manufacturing industry, thanks to grant funding provided by the US Environmental Protection Agency Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
