Saving Money Through Energy Management Systems

When: Sep 7, 2017, 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Where: Knowledge Center, 5240 Knowledge Parkway, Erie, PA 16510

Energy is a critical component of any organization’s operations.  Energy management helps to reduce an organization’s energy costs through improved energy performance and an Energy Management System (EnMS) is key to achieving that performance.

During this workshop, a Technical Advisor from the Pennsylvania Technical Assistance Program (PennTAP) will explain the structure, goals and many benefits of an EnMS.  The Advisor will also outline the steps involved in implementing and maintaining an EnMS at your facility.

The PennTAP Advisor will walk attendees through the Department of Energy’s new online tools for creating an EnMS, the 50001 Ready Navigator and EnPI Lite, and will discuss the formal standards that exist for EnMSs:  ISO 50001 and Superior Energy Performance (SEP).

If you or your organization is interested in conserving energy, reducing your energy bills, shrinking your environmental footprint, or improving your corporate image, please join us for this informative and helpful workshop.
