  • Greg Lewis, PhD, Associate Professor, Penn State, College of Medicine
    • Greg Lewis is associate professor of Orthopaedics at Penn State University’s College of Medicine. He is also associate director of Penn State’s Center for Biodevices, which supports promising new research and helps connect engineering, scientific, and clinical researchers across Penn State. His own research interests include computational modeling of mechanics related to fracture fixation and joint replacement surgeries. He is PI on an NIH-funded grant for developing surgical training software, and his lab conducts industry-supported biomechanical experiments for evaluating new implants and biomedical devices. Dr. Lewis also leads an NIH-supported training program for biomedical engineering undergraduate students.
  • Erika L. Swift, MBA, MHA, Executive Director, Center for Medical Innovation, Professor of Practice, The Pennsylvania State University
    • Erika Swift is a business executive with over 25 years of experience in technology commercialization, new business development, regional economic growth, operations, and startups. Erika has held diverse leadership roles throughout her career, including launching commercial products in complex markets, category management, international sales and marketing, market research, customer discovery, and strategic planning. She has successfully commercialized, launched, and managed numerous innovative technologies licensed from individual inventors and academic institutions.
  • Kelly S. Wylam, MA, Executive Director, Pennsylvania’s Innovation Partnership (IPart)
    • With over 25 years of experience supporting technology-based businesses and economic development initiatives in Pennsylvania, Kelly Wylam provides strategic guidance in grant proposal development, business counseling, and funding acquisition. She was part of the founding team that launched IPart in 2002 and now leads its statewide collaboration of more than 18 organizations and institutions. Her work helps entrepreneurs and small businesses access federal funding and bring innovative technologies to market. She holds a BS in Public Relations and Communications from Millersville University and an MA in Government from Lehigh University.
