RISE PA grant program’s Round 5 will open for applications September 15
The Reducing Industrial Sector Emissions in PA (RISE PA) grant program will open for applications for round five of its Small-scale Award Track (SAT) on September 15. The RISE PA SAT helps small- and mid-sized manufacturing facilities invest in equipment upgrades or other projects that will reduce greenhouse gas emissions and lower operational costs. Aimed at improving air quality and boosting competitiveness for Pennsylvania’s manufacturers, the RISE PA SAT has already awarded nearly $5.5M to 29 projects in 14 counties in rounds one and two. PennTAP was named an administrator of the program in 2025 and partners with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection to manage the SAT program.
