RISE PA Small-scale Award Track Grant Application Open for Round 3

Applications for Round 3 of the Small-scale Award Track for the RISE PA grant opened on January 15, 2026. The application deadline for Round 3 is April 15, 2026.
Through the RISE PA grant program, PennTAP secured $40 million dedicated to helping small and mid-sized Pennsylvania manufacturers reduce energy use, lower costs and emissions, and invest in long-term sustainability.
Why Apply:
- You could receive 50% of the cost of a decarbonization project, up to $500,000.
- A no-cost energy assessment will identify savings for your facility–schedule your assessment soon with PennTAP (or another qualified assessor) to assure you meet the application deadline.
- You’ll enjoy long-term energy cost savings, freeing up resources for other priorities and boosting your overall competitiveness.
Eligibility:
- You are a Pennsylvania manufacturing facility with fewer than 500 full-time employees.
- Your total project cost is between $50K-$1M.
- Your project will reduce greenhouse gas emissions through electrification, efficiency improvements, low-carbon fuels, on-site renewable energy, carbon capture, or reducing fugitive emissions.

- A no-cost site assessment and Technical Assessment Report to fulfill application requirements (Allow 2 weeks to schedule your assessment and approximately 6-8 weeks to receive your report. If you’ve completed P2/E2 assessment within the past two years, it will likely fulfill the requirement. Check with your PennTAP Technical Advisor.)
- Weekly virtual office hours beginning February 18 (Get details and register here.)
- Guidance from a dedicated Program Manager and a regional Technical Advisor in your area
