Fabiola Pardede is a graduate student at Penn State in the Department of Energy and Mineral Engineering, focusing on energy conversion in geothermal system and utilization of super critical CO2 for power generation. She completed her bachelor’s degree in energy engineering at Penn State, studying renewable energy, energy efficiency, and energy economics. Fabiola previously worked on a capstone project helping a major manufacturing company to retrofit their plant in Southern Tier New York. As a graduate assistant with PennTAP, she assists technical advisors with energy efficiency and pollution prevention assessments and facility operations workshops. She is excited to contribute to the environment through energy conservation projects and to experience on-site assessments for small-scale industries.
