Elizabeth Timblin, as the Administrative Coordinator for PennTAP, provides multifaceted administrative and financial support to the PennTAP team.
Prior to joining PennTAP, Elizabeth was a research lab manager for three years where she performed various administrative and research tasks including developing standard policies and procedures, completing purchasing processes, overseeing undergraduate and graduate student schedules, accumulating all necessary documentation in accordance with Environmental Health and Safety, maintaining inventories and lab organization, and keeping a detailed lab notebook. This position required excellent communication with vendors and collaborating labs. Elizabeth has built a network of relationships in and around State College as she also has 11 years of accounting/administrative experience working for small businesses and is very active in the community.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from The Pennsylvania State University as well as an associate’s degree in Business Administration Accounting from South Hills School of Business & Technology.
